Minorities question conservative Arab parties

Religiously conservative parties are being accused of hijacking the spirit of the Arab Spring. The 2011 uprisings in the Arab World were welcomed as the beginning of a new era of reform and democracy, but with instability in Egypt and sectarian violence, many people accuse religiously conservative parties of hijacking the spirit of the Arab Spring.
