The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) works to drive economic growth as well as cultural and social development. The next major step in its goals will be the creation of a free-trade economic community in 2015.

The association ranges from rich Singapore to struggling Myanmar. Thailand is also a member. Nick Pisalyaput lives in Bangkok and is first and foremost an entrepreneur - but his true passion is for education. He teaches sustainability to business students at the renowned Sasin Graduate Institute.
