Amnesty International held a protest against US human rights violations on the 25 of March, ahead of President Barack Obama’s visit to Belgium.

The protesters dressed in orange jumpsuits – as worn by detainees at the Guantanamo detention centre – as they demonstrated in Brussels.

Today Obama will participate on EU and NATO summits in Belgium.

Amnesty protesters said they were asking European leaders to raise some questions with Obama whilst he is in Brussels: namely the issue of the death penalty in the US, the use of drones and the plight of prisoners at Guantanamo.
