Jaccky Bhagnani's much anticipated film Youngistaan has finally hit the screens on the 28th of March, 2014. Directed by Syed Ahmed Afzal, while this youth oriented film had already stirred the buzz owing to its love caper that's set on the backdrop of politics, here's a final delivery that now glimpses upon what Youngistaan has ultimately offered to the audience!
Firstly, a quick brush up through the film's plot! Youngistaan starts off by spilling out a live-in relationship between Jacky and his girlfriend Neha Sharma. However, no sooner do we settle with this duo's romanticism, the story takes a drastic turn with Jaccky taking up the political reign after his father faces a sudden death stroke! Rising as the youngest Prime Minister of India, while his confidence sets him high on fame but the hindrances that follow its own fury, is what the entire film all about!
Now going by the plot of it, the film has definitely stood upright with its beautiful narration of Politics and love. In fact, unlike the speculations, this political charm hasn't even attempted in taking a dig at any of the politicians from our country. Leaning on to its own individual beauty, Youngistaan is one of those simple stories with a highly strong message! It engages through love by stressing upon politics...A few scenes might remind you of Anil Kapoor's Nayak but again, we don't want to kill its true essence by aligning further comparisons. Performance wise, Jaccky is sure to give you an awestruck with his style and acting, definitely one of his best shots. And coming to co-star Neha Sharma, she is quite on an average but gives a good support throughout the film.
Overall to sum it up, Youngistaan is undoubtedly a viewer's treat with an influential message clinging on to it! Commendably balancing love at par with politics, well, all we can say is, Youngistaan is a country that turns up fantasy into reality!
Boarding our flight to Youngistaan, we at BollywoodUncut give it a score of 3.5 stars on 5. For more updates, do like this video and don't forget to subscribe to Bollywood Uncut!
