The collection consists of more than 30 handmade styles that evoke elements from fine art and architecture. Each pair uses unexpected materials such as natural marble, granite, manta ray leather, and wood. Ornamentation such as gold coins and Swarovski crystal serve to enhance the sculptural aesthetic. Julia Haart tells us, “The idea behind my collection is that I wanted to create something that’s art. With fashion, it’s art that you wear.”
