Microsoft has decided to call off the support to its Widows XP operating systems since April 8 this year. As a result, the most of the global ATM services along with banking operation may be affected. Moreover, the Virus updates supplied through the Windows XP would also be stopped because of which it will a child’s play for hackers to break into anyone’s account and hack the desirous ATM. It’s interesting to know that India has around 1 lakh 40 thousand ATMs. The termination of updates services will invite virus attack or hacking along with the threat to data belongs to varied clients.
