Watching "Wild Things" for the plot twists is the equivalent of reading Playboy for the articles, but still they did get audience's attention and it was a fun surprise. The erotic thriller starts out centering a high school guidance counselor (Matt Dillon) who is accused of rape by two of his students (Neve Campbell and Denise Richards). Of course it ends up being anything but that as it evolves in a massive con game full of double-crosses and ménage-a-trios.
Ultimately just about everyone thinks they are in on the scheme, but it turns out to be Campbell who is really calling the shots as she dispatches ally after ally until she's the last woman standing. While her threesome with Dillon and Richards is of course the main attraction, the ending also stuck with audiences when they left the theaters.
