President Vladimir Putin takes something of a victory lap after making Crimea part of Russia once again.
He says Crimea has finally returned to its "home port" of Russia
(SOUNDBITE) (Russian) RUSSIAN PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN, SAYING:
"We have done a lot together, but we will do much more, we will need to solve many tasks, but I know, I'm confident that we will overcome everything, resolve everything because we are together. Glory to Russia!"
While the West decries the action -- in Moscow they are singing the national anthem.
Moscow's seizure of Crimea has caused the most serious East-West crisis since the end of the Cold War.
Despite threats of tougher sanctions Putin is showing no signs of backing down.
