Weird Tree: "Cocky" penis-shaped tree found in Taiwan

This Madagascar Almond tree, found just outside of Taitung, eastern Taiwan, really does have something to be proud of. Its most prominent feature that sits 2 meters off the ground is attracting many tourists. When you notice the shape of the new growth, you'll agree that it deserves to be a little bit "cocky".
A local man says that the phallic branch was once normal, but broke off during high winds in a recent typhoon. As the tree healed its wound, it started resembling a very 'manly' shape.
According to the measurement done by our sister reporters at The Apple Daily, the penis shaped branch is roughly 20 centimeters long. A local explained, the tree branch was damaged during a typhoon, but it somehow healed itself into this shape. But why is it well-endowed? Probably the magic of mother nature.
