VIDEO: Detroit man evicts possum with a shovel, angers animal rights activists

A Detroit man posted a video online of himself abusing a possum with a snow shovel. He jokes about an eviction, receiving praise from his Facebook friends.
The man, uploaded the video to a Facebook account titled Charles Whyte Chocalate* Trexler and wrote, "Shit got real i gave him his eviction notice this week."
The video immediately received praise from his Facebook friends, before going viral and angering animal rights activists. The man is overheard making racial slurs in the video and his appearance toward the end of the video has surprised many viewers. One Redditor commented, "well i'm racist... what a twist!"
Trexler received racially charged comments and threats to his family before responding via Facebook, "For every one out there talking bout my video i called animal control this week before the video was made no one ever came an they not gon come I'm in Detroit and the only way AC coming if it's a pittbull fighting mutha f---as act like I'm out here on some mike vick shit lol like i run around beating on animals messaging me racist shit bout my kids an girl like they got something to do with it saying shit like they would hit my n----er baby in the head f---ing racist talk real good over a computer if u don't like my video leave my family out of this over some f---ing road kill"
He removed the video from his Facebook but it was still available on Liveleak.
