Since 2003, the BAFTA Games Awards have celebrated the world of video games. But it's not just the big console games that this ceremony applauds but also smaller games on mobile phones as well, according to BAFTA's Harvey Elliot.
INTERVIEW Chair of BAFTA Games Committee, Harvey Elliott, saying (English):
"There is a lot of change coming in the industry and you know mobiles in the last four years the performance has just doubled every year or faster. Screen resolution's gone up. Processing speed's gone up. Storage space has gone up. So the games have grown in size. And then look at the consoles they've taken a huge step change in the last few months with PS4 and XBox One. But what I realise is you can have these huge blockbuster hits, these huge market dominating games on these massive consoles, but also there's plenty of room for smaller independent titles to come through even on those consoles but also on the mobile and tablet games."
