Former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has sent a letter to Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Hussain Jillani to take action on deaths in Tharparkar due to famine.
More than 60 children have died in Tharparkar due to hunger. Reports said that government had tons of wheat in store but did not distribute it to the local people.
Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that the children died due to cold.
