Kenyans bask in Nyong'o Oscar win

She's a new Hollywood darling, collecting her first Oscar for her first feature film for her role in "12 Years a Slave".

But it's not just Lupita Nyong'o herself who's ecastatic at her Best Supporting Actress win - she's delighted a whole country.

Kenyans rejoicing at their fellow countrywoman's success.

31-year-old Nyong'o won for her role in Steve's McQueen's slavery biopic, playing hardworking slave Patsey.

It caps a breakout awards season for the Yale-trained actress.
