Fans disappointed that the "Star Trek"-themed section of a Las Vegas hotel closed can now set their sights on a new tribute to Gene Roddenberry's galaxy of space exploration and adventure. According to StarTrek.com.
"Star Trek will be represented in force at Paramount Park Murcia, to be located at Alhama de Murcia on the Mediterranean coast about 270 miles southeast of Madrid. Last week, StarTrek.com
posted official concept art of the theme park, and it appears to have a strong Starfleet Academy vibe.

Australian actor Sam Worthington has been arraigned in New York on counts including misdemeanor assault for allegedly punching a photographer, who also was charged in their encounter. The 37-year-old "Avatar" star was ordered on Wednesday to stay away from photographer Sheng Li for six months. Prosecutors say Worthington punched the photographer in the face in a scuffle Sunday in Manhattan's Greenwich Village.
Director Steven Soderbergh seems to be a master at quickly throwing together a sharp cut of an otherwise unwieldy movie. Aside from editing his own films, Soderbergh's name has popped up in anecdotes as other directors recall him offering to cut their movies' lengthy early runtimes down overnight to help them gain a new perspective in the editing room. Now, Soderbergh has put his editing prowess into something a bit different: mashing up two nearly identical movies. On his website, Extension 765, Soderbergh has combined Alfred Hitchcock's and Gus Van Sant's versions of Psycho into a single film, which he's titled Psychos.
