It's depressing to think how close we came to walking a different path. Some say it wouldn't matter anyway, but I don't think the tree hugger cyber geek with visions of a democratic techno utopia and a fierce hatred of both violence and the RIAA would have knocked down the towers. Do you? Now that I've had a taste of the real thing, Al & Tipper's clean-up-the-airwaves "decency fascism" sounds downright cute. I wish a war on TV violence and explicit lyrics were our biggest problems right now. Does anybody have one of those interdimensional Palm Pilots from Sliders? Can somebody send me one?
