Checked my solar heat storage tank, a 200 gallon softank, saw the water was low and copper heat exchanger pipes pretty green and corroded. Check pH found it was a lowly 5.3, added 3.5 boxes (500g each) of baking soda to bring up the pH to 6.7 , I need to add more later but ran out of soda. Make sure to check your solar tank level at least twice a year, ideally more often.
