George Zimmerman flees Miami after $10000 bounty is put on his head

George Zimmerman has reportedly fled Miami after being harassed by a crowd and told he had a $10,000 bounty on his head.

Seven months since being acquitted of second-degree murder and manslaughter charges in the death of Trayvon Martin, Zimmerman finally broke his silence and sat down with Univision last week, admitting that he now lives in constant fear and is battling post-traumatic stress disorder.

The former Florida neighborhood watchman claimed he could no longer lead a normal life and that he wears a bulletproof vest when out in public.

The 30-year-old has fallen on hard times and described himself as being "totally homeless", but said his family still helps him.

Zimmerman was harassed after he was recognized during a visit to the beach with his family on Monday and told by a shouting person, that a $10,000 bounty had been put on his head.

Turns out, the bounty's apparently real and is being offered up by the New Black Panther Party, a militant African American organization that takes its name from the radical group of the 1960s.

Zimmerman and his family retreated to back to their hotel, but was pursued by the unfriendly crowd. Upon arrival hotel security swept through their room to make sure no one had tampered with their things and a guard was next assigned to stand watch in front of their room day and night.

Early the next day, Zimmerman did an interview with CNN, where he accused President Obama and US Attorney General Eric Holder of making him a "scapegoat".

Mere hours after the interview, he got the hell out of Miami.
