Throughout the last century, the suits that we wear have changed and changed. Though, one part about them has, for the most part, stayed the same. That part is the tie. Ties are used worldwide for nearly every professional/business setting where a suit is involved. Occasionally you'll get someone wearing a bowtie, but for the most part, it's all about the tie. They're used for added professionalism in the workplace or for just looking up to fashion when going out into the public. They vary in numerous different kinds of patterns and colors, and can be folded in many, many ways. Some politicians even use the tie color to show which party they belong to. For example, a democrat in the United States would be more likely to wear a blue tie than a red one. For a republican, however, the opposite is true. Learning to tie a tie is a lifetime skill that others will envy you for. Sure, it isn't hard. At all. But people never take the time to learn how to do it, and you will constantly be surrounded by people asking you to tie their tie for them. Just imagine all that attention! Doug from down at the office will be telling his friends, "Yeah, I had a big meeting coming up and had no idea how to tie my tie, but thankfully that guy who wears all the weird ties knew how to tie it." Doug is kind of mean sometimes. He doesn't appreciate ties and what they do for a mans image. Even a womans image can be drastically improved by a tie! Ties are for everyone. They are not bigoted, they do not judge. Find a form fitting suit and a good colored tie with a respectable knot in it and you'll be the talk of the town.
