Brahimi aplogizes as second round of Syrian peace talks ends without much progress

As the second round of peace talks ends with little progress in Geneva, Syrians protest against President Bashar al-Assad.
Chanting anti-government slogans, they mock Assad, calling him the Hitler of Syria.
The demonstration comes after days of talks at the UN in Geneva between the opposition and the government.
International mediator Lakhdar Brahimi apologizes for failing to produce much progress.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) INTERNATIONAL MEDIATOR LAKHDAR BRAHIMI, SAYING:
"I'm very, very sorry and I apologize to the Syrian people that their hopes which were very, very high that something will happen here -- I think that the little that has been achieved in Homs gave them even more hope that maybe this is the beginning of the coming out of this horrible crisis they are in."
Brahimi did admit that the two sides had agreed on an agenda for a third round. But no date has been set.
