How Anand Amin tricked women into sending him adult photos

A Connecticut man is in hot water tonight after his scheme to blackmail women into sending him lewd photos was found out.
Anand Amin would pose as a young woman who owned a modeling agency called Gucci Top Modeling and bait young girls into becoming models with messages over social media sites.
His "boss" would then hand the assignments off to the real Amin to make it seem as if he was just a talent scout in a larger organization. Many of his victims were women who he had connections to in real life. In one case both he and his target attended the same university at one point.
His strategy was simple: Lure the victim into taking lewd photos of herself. He would say it was for a particular client that needed to see their body shape. That way the victim would be more at ease about the whole thing.
In the end, he would always press for more. Sometimes he would try to get her to meet in person and get the victim to perform sex acts with him. If that didn't work, he'd use blackmail to get what he wanted, threatening to post the pictures on the internet, sending them to family members, and so on.
Thankfully, his latest victim called his bluff and went straight to the cops. A search of Amin's computer turned up at least 39 other possible victims. He's scheduled to face a judge for the first time on January 30.
