Five nabbed at airport for smuggling gold worth Rs 85 lakh, Ahmedabad - Tv9 Gujarati

The customs department held five man for smuggling gold worth Rs 85 lakh at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.The Central government has imposed restrictions on gold imports.. The yellow metal is being smuggled into the country by various means, especially since gold is available at a cheaper rate in Dubai and Sharjah.
