STORY: Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member and international pop superstar Prince on Tuesday (February 4) performed at London's Electric Ballroom for a small crowd as he begins a short UK tour and promotion for his upcoming album, seen in footage uploaded online.

Prince arrived in the UK earlier in the day with all female group 3RDEYEGIRL, collaborators on the album, after flying straight from an all night launch party on Sunday (February 2) in New York City.

The group and the "Purple Rain" star held a small news conference in the living room of British singer Lianne LaHavas, apparently after she had made a joke previously to Prince that he should hold it there.

The band then moved to Camden's historic Electric Ballroom where they played a 60 minute session to a few hundred fans who were tipped off just an hour beforehand via Twitter.

Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL previewed two tracks from the forthcoming album "PLECTRUMELECTRUM".
