RBI raises repo rate by 25 bps to 8% - Tv9 Gujarati

The Reserve Bank of India hiked the repo rate by 0.25%,The move from the RBI governor Raghuram Rajan came as a surprise to most market analysts and may have a bearing on interest rates. It may also push up the cost of funds for retail as well as corporate borrowers.
