BGA Rework: removal in air atmoshere

This video demonstrates what happens to the solder sphere as a component is removed in air atmosphere. Due to oxidation of the solder, surface tension effects preclude the residual solder from collapsing and forming a meniscus - and the characteristic chocolate kiss shape is produced.
