Footage broadcast by private television channels in Egypt appears to show the moment a car bomb explodes outside a Cairo security headquarters, killing at least four people.
A wave of bomb attacks hit Cairo on Friday, killing at least six people and raising fears that an Islamist insurgency is gaining pace on the eve of the third anniversary of the uprising that toppled autocrat Hosni Mubarak.
The violence underscored the struggle of authorities to tame an Islamist insurgency which has been gaining pace since the army toppled Islamist President Mohamed Mursi in July.
