Student shot dead in Alexandria clashes

STORY: One student was killed and three others injured during clashes with security forces at Alexandria University's campus on Thursday .
Students opposed to Egypt's interim government and its roadmap staged a protest, but riot police fired tear gas to disperse them, according to eyewitnesses.
One student was shot in the head during the clashes and protesters were seen carrying his body with blood streaming from his face.
In a report on Thursday, Amnesty International said Egypt has seen state violence on an "unprecedented scale" since the army deposed Islamist President Mohamed Mursi last July following mass protests against his rule.
The protest took place two days before the third anniversary of the mass uprising that toppled President Hosni Mubarak in 2011.
