James Bond 007: Nightfire review. Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of James Bond 007: Nightfire for the Nintendo GameCube developed by Eurocom and published by Electronic Arts.

Whether you consider it a first-person shooter or a simulator about how to be a sleazy scoundrel, this is a pretty awesome video game. Join 007 as he steals hearts, drives cars and shoots laser beams from his watch in James Bond 007: Nightfire. The fifth Bond game of the post-GoldenEye era, Nightfire is a very polished shooter that looks gorgeous on the GameCube. If you can deal with its controls, which are a huge step backward from current FPS design, Nightfire has a lot of fun to offer. The Bond character is modeled after Pierce Brosnan himself, so it’s understandable why the ladies swoon. The game features a huge list of weapons and gadgets, as well as vehicles—from cars with rocket launchers to snowmobiles with turrets, Bond has no shortage of explosive rides. If you can accept that it’s not GoldenEye, James Bond 007: Nightfire is a great addition to your GameCube library.

This video review features video gameplay footage of James Bond 007: Nightfire for the Nintendo GameCube and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
