Bags at the ready for Burberry Prorsum menswear show

ROUGH CUT (NO NARRATION)

Although Burberry are best known for their trademark tartan, the tartan was sparse, replaced by a plethora of 'manbags', with the male models in white net vests carrying large coloured bags down the catwalk, with a matching coloured scarf draped casually over the shoulder. The trademark overcoats were there - some traditionally black or navy blue, but others vibrant with colourful patterns. However, the finale of the show saw the traditional tartan make an appearance in the form of throws hanging over the left shoulder of the male models. Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey, who will soon take on the position of CEO at Burberry, made a brief appearance at the end of the show before disappearing backstage.
