Sweet Georgia Brown Lagrene 2003 A couple months ago a friend in Ontario gave me Bireli's DVD as a present.
I have never seen anything like it. Bireli is the very best in this kind of music and his solo partner, the Bucharest born violinist Florin Niculescu is the obvious successor to Stephane Grappelli. This is a clip from a 2003 concert in Vienne just south of Lyon, France before a crowd of more than 8000. The DVD is available from Amazon.com and it will be a worthwile investment for your collection.
