Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi addressed a function “Self-help group” sponsored by state government called “Umeed” for the empowerment of women in Jammu and Kashmir during his visit. “Earlier our women were not come out of the house and lack of confidence in women is the prime reason for the poverty, once a poor woman told me in UP.” He also added confidence helps the women to come from the poverty.
