Over the Waves Valentine 1971
I found this recording in my collection. It is recorded in New Orleans in Preservation Hall. My notes tell me it was in 1971 and the one musician I recognize is trumpetplayer Kid Thomas Valentine.T he trombonist is Louis Nelson and is the clarinetplayer Albert Burbank?

It certainly hits that pure New Orleans style by these originators of the music. Most of these musicians worked all their life in and around New Orleans.
I'm fortunate to have been able to play many times in New Orleans in the early seventies and I experienced some of that feeling. When it's played live by these musicians and you are present it becomes quite an impact .
