Enthusiastic students of Vivekanand Educational Society kicked started a cycling revolution by appealing for dedicated cycling lanes in and around Chembur. VES as Mumbai Youth Partner has associated with Godrej Eon Tour de India 2013, a mega, national cyclothon event, to advocate cycling as an efficient mode of transportation, optimal for short to moderate distances, emphasising the potential for energy & resource conservation and also the health benefits gained from cycling for exercise.
