Chinese state media releases images of China's unmanned spacecraft on the moon.
On Saturday, the Chang'e 3 probe accomplished a so-called "soft landing" on the moon - as China joined the U.S. and former Soviet Union in managing such a feat.
The probe was carrying the solar-powered Jade Rabbit buggy - a remote-controlled rover tasked with digging and conducting geological surveys.
On Sunday, the rover and the probe took photographs of each other.
China has been increasingly ambitious in developing space missions - for military, commercial and scientific purposes.
