Siliguri Commissioner of Police K Jayaraman, who was targeted and shunted out for taking on a bureaucrat, accused of misusing state funds, has been transferred and sent on leave. The West Bengal government has also asked the police to go slow in its investigation on DM of WB's Malda district. The DM has been accused misappropriating funds from SJDA.
