Kenya tries new way to protect rhinos

Poachers killed around 10 percent of Kenya's rhino population last year, according to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Horns can fetch up to $90,000 a kilo and are in demand across Asia for their perceived medicinal qualities. The WWF and Kenyan rangers have responded to illegal poaching by launching a programme that involves sawing off rhinos' horns and inserting high-tech tracking devices under their skin. Al Jazeera's Charles Stratford reports.
