This was the moment a massive crane collapsed at Sao Paulo's World Cup stadium.

This footage was shot by architect Marcio Campos, who was visiting the construction site.

Last Wednesday's accident killed two workers. The crane fell as it was lifting a roof that weighed 420 tonnes.

It damaged the stadium, that is slated to host the opening match of the 2014 World Cup.

Construction workers were rushing to meet a December deadline set by FIFA.

The accident casts a shadow on preparations for the World Cup, that's already been plagued with delays, budget overruns, and a drastic downsizing of public transport projects that had been planned for the benefit of Brazil's 200 million residents.
