Rohani says sanctions "broken" by Iran's Geneva deal
  • 10 years ago
Iran has sacrificed much to have a nuclear programme, and that sacrifice will not be bargained away nor made in vain. That is what Iran’s President Hassan Rohani seemed to want to underline with his reaction to the Geneva deal, made with the families of murdered nuclear scientists alongside him.

“The second result of this agreement is the right to enrich uranium on Iranian soil. Everyone can interpret things the way they like, but in the document Iran’s right to enrich uranium is clearly mentioned.
This agreement breaks the sanctions structure. The cracks began to appear last night, and as time goes on they will widen,” he said in Tehran.
