Similar attacks have claimed the lives of hundreds of Iraqis each month since the start of the year.
The United Nations says nearly 1, 000 died in October alone.
It's calling on Iraq's political leaders to unite to end the bloodshed that's escalated since U.S. troops withdrew in December 2011.
