Drug bust gone wrong: Police organized a drug bust after a Brooklyn building manager mistook tomato plants growing on a rooftop for cannabis plants.
Lefferts Garden building superintendant Christian Delarosa made a dope of himself by mistaking tomato plants for the illegal kind. A tenant was using the building's roof to grow tomato seedlings. For some reason this confounded the naive super, who discovered them while checking for leaks.

Scandalized, Delarosa looked up the object of his suspicion on his phone and, apparently seeing a resemblance to pot plants, called the police. Officers arrived expecting a somewhat different scene and quickly set Delarosa straight, explaining the wacky tobacky were just ordinary tomato plants. An unrepentant Delarosa reportedly responded "I don't know much about plants. I'm not too good with that."
