Surveillance footage shows the moment when 2 suicide blasts ripped through Iran's embassy compound in Beirut, killing at least 23 people.

The day after, locals offer their condolences at the Iranian embassy.

Hezbollah parliament member Mohammed Fneish was among them.

"This is a sign of the inability to realize any progress or accomplishment against the resistance's project. They always return to the method of revenge from the people and the killing of innocents. The event is surely condemned by all ethical standards and won't affect anything in the political parties intentions to maintain their position concerning the resistance, because it defends a rightful issue."

A Lebanon-based al Qaeda-linked group claimed responsibility and threatened further attacks unless Iran withdraws its forces from Syria.
