At any given moment you can catch VINYL THIEF members using a timpani, a sampler, or anything in between. But to help narrow the idea that is VINYL THIEF in your head, I would say we could fit in to the electro-rock category. We like to say that we have too many instruments to be simply rock, and too normal of haircuts to be completely electronic new wave, so we sit somewhere in the middle.

Currently, we're recording a lot of new songs. We have been fortunate enough to work with producer Lynn Nichols. Lynn turned an old plantation home in Franklin, Tennessee, into a studio, and we have become tenants, of sorts.
