Security camera footage captures the moment a Tatarstan Airlines jet crashes into the runway on landing.
The video shows a light moving vertically toward the runway at Kazan airport east of Moscow, then an explosion.
Investigators say data recorder analysis suggests the pilot pitched the plane into a nosedive at 700 metres but offered no explanation why.
The crew had been trying to abort the landing to make a second attempt.
All 44 passengers and six crew were killed.
The victims include the son of Tatarstan president and the regional head of the FSB intelligence service.
A Briton and a Ukrainian were also on board.
