Bubba Shakespeare is a rapper/singer/poet /rap tutor from Nenagh co.Tipperary who began exploring and expressing his gift of the gab via poetry which developed in to rap at the age of 12,
while also displaying a talent for singing as he started out in a cover band
but due to artistic differences(no one getting on) he decided to go solo and write original music ,
he released a single ( sexy momacieta a sexy summery hiphop tune, produced by j spain) locally and to his surprise had to order more copies due to demand..
his r'n,b/hip hop version of oro, se do bheatha abhaile is played consistantley on irish radio stations nation wide and also in the north of ireland.
He also enjoyed a stint on the red fm hit list with a track called beautiful a catchy r'n'b pop tune inspired by the beauty of his girlfriend at the time, which also feature's a rap verse in our native gaeilge.
Bubba doesn't given in to growing idea of americanize every thing, his accent is true to his roots and his irish rap is true to his heritage, being a former student of the gaielscoil and gaielcolaise in Nenagh he decided to write some hip hop/rap tunes as gailge with the aim to revive the language of our land,and has found identity in doing so,
this took off for him and has since landed gig's in Gweedore at the CABARET CRAICEAILTE a monthly gig showing off some of the finest irish language talent out there,put together by Ronan mac Aodha from Ronan beo @3 on Radio na Gealteachta in which Bubba has appeared live a few times,as well as corks red fm with the master stevi g.

He has worked with the likes of anto yau, gmc .squared and end game to name a few all cork based talent under the name of bubba shakespeare,
bubba has also recored tracks in english and irish with the likes of Indi Kaur and former loop guru member madjym (for an album entitled invoke) who currently works under the company name of fidget-feet .
T.v. appearances include Tnag a number of times and R.T.E1 for the Paddys day parade 09 in which he played an irish set in the odeon bar in Dublin ,
festivals include Glastonburry,electric picnic, the blue stack festival, the Clifton arts fest ,the nenagh e.m.m. fest and many more .some of his poetry has been published in papers and on line
bubba also gets involved with rap work shops as more and more youth take interest in having a voice he has worked with the triskel arts center and given work shops from cork to Nenagh. he will also be given work shops in the source arts center Thurlas and the youth center in Mallow to name a few.bubba was also a member of the group who traveled to liverpool for performances with the capital of culter 2008 Has performed at Corks biggest teenage discos and teen idle 06, while he also performs at Tipperary's biggest teen age disco's and has a few regular slots in his home town wear he freestyles to entertain or just jams with local musicians for the fun of seeing what happens as he believes you cant plan the beast things n life.
Bubba wishes to release an alum in the future under the name Bubba shakespeare but not until he feels he has developed enough , he wants to take his time and create a an album full of 5 star songs from start to finish,
he believes to live is to have a dream.
