Black Sabbath receive Classic Rock's living legend award

Heavy metal icons Black Sabbath triumphed at this year's Classic Rock awards in London on Thursday (November 14), picking up three prizes including the living legend award.

The band also won album of the year for 13 and event of the year, after their new release topped album charts across the world and scored them their biggest US hit.

SOUNDBITE, Ozzy Osbourne, singer, saying (English):

"It's been a great journey, this year has been amazing for us. I keep thinking I will wake up and find out it's all been a f***ing dream. It's just amazing."

The band's reunion tour is set to continue in 2014 with a series of shows in North America and Europe. Ozzy said he was 'fit as a fiddle', but admitted problems remembering his lyrics.

"My short term memory's f***ed, I will read a lyric and I will forget it by the time it comes out of my f***ing mouth . I mean I have been singing these songs for like 45 years."
