After onions and potatoes, now there is a massive salt crisis that has hit Bihar and north of Bengal. Spiraling queues of people lined outside stores ready to pay upto 80 Rs per kg for salt following rumours that there was a shortage of salt. The matter has already taken political colour with the JD(U) and the BJP blaming each other.
