Las Rozas (Spain), Nov 13 (EFE), (Camera: Juan Yagüe).- Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos said Wednesday that teammate Cristiano Ronaldo "deserves to win the Ballon d'Or" and regretted the injury to Argentine Leo Messi, "a player super-fundamental for Barcelona".
"For me, yes indeed. It's an individual award, and I've always said that trophies are won thanks to the collective effort and teamwork, but I think he deserves it especially this year when he's showing that he is the best," Ramos said after being asked if he thought Cristiano should win the coveted trophy.
