Sloquet Hot Springs - Clean-up and dam rebuild in a sustainable way

Sloquet Hot Springs. Canada, BC. 10th and 11th of November 2013.
A group a 15 volunteers cleaned up the pools, excavated tons of sand, straighten fallen banks, dismantled the old dam made of multi layers of plastic tarps and plastic sand bags, and rebuilt the dam in a sustainable way using hemp sand bags, and finally covered and secured the bags with local rocks.
