Negotiations between Iran and six world powers will resume Saturday after top diplomats from the U.S., Iran and the European Union made progress during talks on Tehran's nuclear program.

A top Iranian negotiator says the meeting with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and the European Union foreign policy chief was productive but that much work remains to reach a deal.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with his U.S. and E.U. counterparts for five hours in search for an agreement to end a decade-old nuclear standoff.
