PRESENTED BY TINA EDWARDS

Sid Batham is a 22 year old vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from London.
Except that's not all he is. When he sings he blows people away with a combination of beauty and power. When he plays it's impossible not to be struck by his musical proficiency, underlined with a quiet but knowing confidence. When he walks into a room it is clear he possesses that distinct but un-definable quality which turns heads.
This may seem like high praise for an artist so young, but Sid Batham's songs speak for themselves. Having practised his craft and written for years Sid has built up an impressive back catalogue, allowing him the luxury of presenting his music and live show in finished form. Whilst he describes his sound as primarily R&B and soul, Batham is more coy when it comes to his influences, stating "The main inspiration has been the small team I have around me, who are all incredibly inspiring individuals. We keep a good positive work ethic and are always pushing ourselves. That's the most important thing to me."
Sid appeared fully formed - and seemingly out of nowhere - earlier this year posting some of his newly recorded music online for the first time ever. Co-produced by Sid alongside new production talent Sigala, just 23 years old, these initial tracks were simply a precursor to Sid's first album which is, characteristically, already complete. As if to underline the breadth of his credentials, he has also recently lent his unmistakable vocal riffs to fast-rising producer Cyril Hahn, who uses a sample of Sid's 'All Lies' on one of his forthcoming original tracks 'Raw Cut' to be released on PMR Records this October.
