"The vocal and guitar duo 'JONAH', consisting of Angelo Mammone and Christian Steenken, is from Hamburg and Berlin. They make Singer/Songwriter and acoustic pop music influenced by artists like Ryan Adam, Bon Iver or Elliott Smith. Although, both are not living in the same city at the moment they manage to make music and record every song in a small studio in Berlin.
Angelo and Christian already played together with their former Indie-Rock band 'Promises!Promises!' at the Sziget Festival or at the Festival Internacional de Benicàssim next to releasing their debut album 'Re-Offender' (Rodeostar/Edel) in 2007, which has been produced by Santi Garcia at the Ultra Marino Studios in Spain."
